I have worked in Financial Services for over 30 years and became Managing Director in 1997 when our founder Maud Gray retired. Our company ethos is to provide professional financial planning built on close personal relationships with clients and I work with generations of families. As well as having vast experience in advising and arranging mortgages, protection and pensions, I also provide specialist advice in more complex tax efficient schemes.

I joined E M Gray in 2009 as a Financial Consultant and Business Quality Manager. In 2018 I took on the role of Operations Director with responsibility for managing the business processing and client servicing function. With over 20 years experience in the financial services industry I enjoy working with our team of advisers and administrators to provide our clients with an exceptional customer service and achieving high regulatory standards.

I have been in the insurance business since January 1984. After spending some time with Liberty Life joined Allied Dunbar in September 1985. I have remained within the same organisation as it has evolved through many changes as the Zurich Advice Network in the early 1990’s and then to the Openwork Network in 2005.

In 2004 I formed my own practice with my former Allied Dunbar colleague Stephen Henry and we worked together for 5 years as The Henry Jenkins Practice before merging with E M Gray & Co in Nov 2009.

Over the last 35 years I have mainly dealt with small self employed and limited company businesses, covering all aspects of financial planning from protection, pension and investment and enjoy providing a one on one personal service to my clients, many of which have been with me for the last 30 years.

I love music if it’s not Country or Rap, must have a couple of hundred CD’s and LP’s – showing my age! When there’s good weather I love to get into the mountains or out on my bike for some fresh air and not forgetting spending quality time with my better half eating out and travelling preferably to the sun.

With 20 years experience in Financial Services I started my career at Lloyds Bank and also spent time at Prudential and Abbey National. Over the years I have gained a wealth of knowledge of the industry and understand how much clients value advice and my relationships with clients is at the heart of everything I do.

I joined the team at E M Gray & Co in January 2019 having previously been an owner/director at one of Northern Irelands largest mortgage and insurance businesses for 15 years. Looking for a new challenge, I completed the Diploma in Financial Planning , expanding my advice portfolio to include investments, pensions and tax planning.

As a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland my early career was in the profession and senior positions in industry and commerce. I have been in Financial Services for more than 30 years and hold The Diploma in Financial Planning. I specialize in the particular requirements of the corporate world including continuity matters, pensions and individual estate/retirement planning.

In 2006 my personal practice integrated with the then E M Gray practice to ensure ongoing service and advice for my established clients in step with the highest professional standards and to contribute to the continuing expansion of E M Gray Ltd in all its aspects.

I have been part of the team at EM Gray since 2006 following a career in teaching until 1994. My role as a Client Relationship Manager is about working with existing and new clients in identifying financial planning priorities and maintaining ongoing servicing. I am a Protection Specialist with vast experience arranging life and serious illness cover, helping businesses and families safeguard their financial futures.

Since starting my career with Pearl assurance I have over 30 years experience in Financial Services. I worked with Premier Financial Planning for 17 years until I joined the team at E M Gray in 2019 where I specialise in investment and retirement planning. I have longstanding client relationships, guiding them throughout the financial journey of life with an emphasis on a face to face personal approach and a commitment to regular reviews and excellent servicing.

Since starting in Alliance & Leicester in 1988 I progressed from cashier to mortgage adviser in 1994 and after leaving the bank in 2006 I became a self employed adviser working across NI. Leaving the bank meant I was able to source from lenders across the market and offer a wider choice in insurance providers. Since then I have built a strong client base which is still growing due to recommendations from existing clients.

With 25 years experience of advising on Mortgages and Protection my priority is finding the best deal for my clients circumstances and helping to make the home buying process as easy as possible.
